March 18 – VDMA European Summit, Amsterdam
With 3,600 members, the VDMA is the largest networking organization and important voice of mechanical engineering in Germany and Europe. The association represents the common economic, technical and scientific interests of this unique and diverse industry.
On March 18, the 2nd edition of the VDMA European Summit will take place in Amsterdam – a conference where the latest developments in mechanical engineering are shared at a European level. Einstein Telescope will be at the conference with a stand to talk to visitors about the plant construction required for the ambitious gravitational wave detector.
March 27 – Zie event 2025, Rotterdam, Van Nelle Fabriek
ZIE is the knowledge and networking event for the South Holland technological industry
The South Holland technological industry faces major challenges such as chain collaboration, digitalization and talent development. Companies active in sectors such as horticulture, aerospace, maritime, high-tech systems & materials, mechanical engineering and defense present themselves.
On March 27, you can discover, experience and learn from prominent companies at ZIE 2025, how they realize new projects and collaborations to respond to current challenges.
Einstein Telescope will be present at ZIE event 2025 to talk to visitors about the technology needed for the gravitational wave detector and future business opportunities resulting from research.

Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands are working on a joint bid for the placement of the Einstein Telescope in the Meuse-Rhine location. Collaborations have been set up between scientists and industry to work together on the challenging technical requirements and simultaneously deploy industrial expertise and know-how. These collaborations are also taking shape in an international context with the partner countries Belgium and Germany.
At the business webinar we invite companies from partner countries to participate in this wonderful project. To give more companies a head start in expertise and skills. To allow companies to participate in the international supplier network. To bring together highly qualified companies and to inform companies about current project calls.
